INWIRE, a new Ukrainian manufacturer of components for the steel industry, has opened a cored wire production plant. Investments in the launch of the new project amounted to more than $1.8 million. The company is located in Zaporizhzhia.
The plant is equipped with a modern automated production line. The industrial site includes a production shop, a raw material warehouse, and a finished goods warehouse. Finished products are delivered to customers in containers by sea or land transport.

“Our clients are already well acquainted with INWIRE’s products. Our business grew out of a pilot project from the umgi investment company that was launched in 2017. This is when umgi initiated the production of cored wire and metallurgical briquettes through its portfolio industrial company INTECH. The creation of our proprietary production facility and the transformation of this area into a separate business has become an important milestone in the company’s development”, says Dmytro Verliyenko, CEO of INWIRE. “Our immediate key goals are to expand our product range and enter new markets”.
Cored wire is a thin-walled steel tube with powdered fillers required for metal smelting. Depending on customer needs, the wire can have various filler compositions, diameters, profiles, sheath thicknesses and other characteristics.

The production of INWIRE complies with the highest quality standards, as attested by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates. All INWIRE products undergo three stages of inspection: incoming inspection of raw materials, during which we check their chemical and fractional composition; intermediate inspection, during which we take samples after drying the briquettes to adjust for possible deviations; and final inspection of finished products, which checks their chemical composition and compressive strength.
