INWIRE, a manufacturer of components for the steel industry, has launched a plant in Kocaeli, Turkey, beginning its transformation into an international group of companies.

INWİRE METALÜRJİ became the Group’s representative in Turkey. The construction and launch of production took two years and was completed in May 2023. $1.3 million was invested by the company into this project.

“Today, INWIRE is one of the largest cored wire producers in Eastern Europe”, said Dmytro Verliyenko, CEO of INWIRE METALÜRJİ. “In order to successfully enter the Middle East and North Africa, we decided to expand our production facilities in close proximity to these key regions”.

The new plant in Kocaeli, Turkey will meet the needs of the local market demand in Turkey, one of the world’s top 10 steel producers, along with demand from the EMEA markets. Due to its proprietary infrastructure, good location and well-planned logistics, the products will be delivered to customers quickly by both land and sea, enabling INWIRE to strengthen its position in the global market.

The plant in Kocaeli is equipped with modern automated production lines. The industrial site includes a production workshop, a raw material warehouse and a finished goods warehouse. Following the launch of the plant, INWİRE METALÜRJİ will focus on expanding its product portfolio and growing its customer base to further increase production capacities.
